Built for multi-generational families, the electric MPV seats seven in a theatre-style arrangement and has a 2,840 mm wheelbase. Boot space goes up to 1,240 litres. The 60.13 kWh lithium-ion battery delivers 517 km on a single charge, with fast charging taking the battery from 10% to 70% in just 30 minutes.
Power output stands at 150 kW with 280 Nm of torque through front-wheel drive. The MPV manages 0-100 km/h in under 10 seconds. Buyers get three years of free maintenance, plus warranty coverage and roadside assistance.
CEO Tapan Ghosh says the vehicle fits the needs of bigger families while offering better comfort and driving dynamics. VinFast is expanding its showroom and service network across India, with charging points and buyback schemes to encourage EV uptake.
The MPV sits alongside the VF 6 and VF 7 in VinFast India’s range. The company builds its cars at Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu. Plans are in place for 75 showrooms and over 230 service workshops by end of next year. VinFast sees this as backing India’s move toward cleaner mobility and cutting emissions.
