Background

Airtel Business has introduced Airtel IQ Gateway, India’s first telco-grade network intelligence platform that brings all customer communication channels onto one secure control plane.

The DPDP-compliant platform combines SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, voice and number verification through silent authentication in a single place. Enterprises no longer need to manage separate vendors, and they can run business communications at scale while keeping customer trust at the center of every interaction.

Businesses now want a clearer view of how their messages reach customers, and this launch responds to that need. Sectors such as BFSI, government, e-commerce and logistics stand to gain the most, since safe communication protects both customers and brand reputation.

Airtel IQ Gateway gives enterprises one control center for all business communications. It pairs Airtel’s fraud protection with automatic integration of the native message template system (DLT), automatic switching to backup service providers and intelligent routing across SMS, WhatsApp, RCS and voice.

The platform draws on Airtel’s built-in network intelligence and trust layers. IQ Verify delivers fraud protection, while Silent Authentication enables SIM-based login. Together, these tools spot fraudulent account creations, account takeovers and artificial traffic spikes, which shields enterprises from fraud losses and billing spikes linked to industry-wide SMS pumping.

The platform is now live across India after successful trial deployments with select banks, financial institutions and other industry partners. It extends Airtel’s proven fraud prevention expertise from end customers to enterprises, helping them build customer trust at scale through safe communications.
