Kumar brings more than 24 years of experience across telecom, IT services, and education technology. He earlier worked as co-founder and COO of CollegeDekho. Under his leadership, the platform grew into a Rs 300 crore business and achieved 67 per cent CAGR over five years.
He also helped CollegeDekho partner with over 2,000 institutions across India. The platform expanded into learning services, marketing support and overseas education. It received funding from investors including Girnarsoft, ADQ, ETS, and Man Capital.
Earlier, Kumar worked with Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, Sify Technologies, Indiatimes and Videocon. His work focused on revenue growth, operations, and business expansion across regions including Maharashtra. His experience spans both telecom and digital education sectors.
