The Vision of Tushar Tapole: Engineering Workforce Revolution

Rising from being a graduate of Engineering to a global innovator: Tushar Tapole’s example is inspiring. He was not an accidental entrepreneur; his success is the result of careful strategy and deliberate effort. He is a visionary who has climbed the ranks of some of the most fateful technology organisations on Earth.

He also graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. He began his career with a business development research internship at Datamatics, where he had an opportunity to dive into the world of technology strategy and business value for the very first time.

He then moved into the position of System Administrator at GIS. This role became a masterclass in global exposure that shaped his next career moves: Microsoft, Mastek, Infosys, and IBM gave him valuable insight into how technology scales, how organisations manage change, and how talent moves across industries and geographies.

Today, he serves as the Co-Founder and CVO of Cloud Counselage Pvt. Ltd, which is one of the most ambitious workforce development projects that has ever arisen out of Asia, one that seeks to redefine how the talent of the world intersects with opportunity.

The trend that developed over these years was not of his own making. It had to do with what he could see everywhere: with an inherent, systematic lack of fit between the skills provided by gifted people and the skills required by organisations. The difficulty was not due to want of ambition on either side. It was an organisational breakdown in the way the world prepared and linked its labour force.

Vision in the Middle of the Skills Gap.

The further Tushar emerged into the world of global technology, the more evident he observed a paradox of scale. Millions of skilled people struggled to find meaningful work, not because they did not have the desire, but because they just did not have the industry skill sets. At the same time, talent shortages alarmed organisations across the globe. The two crises were present, and each contributed to a great extent. That became his turning point.

Cloud Counselage Pvt. Ltd. was co-founded because he believed that a strategic global ecosystem could fill this divide, one between talent and organisations and between talent and institutions. What was started as a consulting and technology project turned into a social enterprise with a mission statement to address the problem of unemployment.

“Employability is not just an economic issue. It is a social and developmental challenge, and when individuals gain the skills to succeed, the ripple effects reach across families, industries, and economies.” He states

The organisation is committed to eradicating unemployment by offering free professional development programs, industry exposure, internships, and employment opportunities. Over the last two years, it has organically supported more than 500,000 individuals from over 75 countries -all at no cost to them.

The company has a vision today of bringing together more than 100 million professionals, 10 million companies and 100,000 colleges across 100 countries. The highlight of the vision is that by using a cause-driven global ecosystem, Industry Academia Community (IAC), it will result in bringing more than 85 million global jobs to India by 2030 while scaling into a $5 billion enterprise.

The strategic objective here is not the magnitude of the figures, but the human interests concealed behind them that move him. Once a person learns the skills of achieving success, this effect spreads to many people through families, communities, and whole economies.

Leadership as a Living Philosophy

When asked how his leadership philosophy evolved, Tushar pauses before responding. Early in his career, leadership meant delivering results and managing systems effectively. As he moved into entrepreneurial territory, that definition expanded.

Today, his approach rests on three pillars: purpose, empowerment, and continuous learning. He leads not by directing from the top but by creating conditions in which people across geographies and cultures contribute meaningfully.

Trust, transparency, and shared vision are not aspirational values at Cloud Counselage; they are operational necessities. He also holds firmly to the belief that leaders must remain lifelong learners. A leader who stops being curious, he argues, stops growing as well. He builds adaptability into both his own approach and his organisation’s culture, staying open to new ideas and new ways of thinking about persistent problems.

Engineering a Workforce Revolution

Cloud Counselage does not position itself as a training company. Tushar built it to operate as a technology-driven ecosystem, underpinned by cloud infrastructure that includes SoftLayer IaaS, VMware vCloud, and OpenStack, tools that enable the enterprise to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions to clients and partners across the globe.

The organization focuses specifically on the necessary competencies: communication, critical thinking, adaptability, problem-solving, and the interpersonal agility that no algorithm can replicate.

Technical skills alone do not determine long-term career success. The company’s training programmes are continuously revised to reflect the evolving demands of an AI-driven global economy. In an era when automation reshapes job profiles almost annually, the organisation prioritises preparing professionals not just for the jobs that exist today but for the roles that will emerge tomorrow.

Expanding the Mission Through Entrepreneurship

Dolphin Tank India is positioned as the world’s first entrepreneurship platform dedicated to building social enterprises. Powered by Cloud Counselage Pvt. Ltd. and the Industry-Academia-Community ecosystem, the platform supports founders from idea to execution.

Through competitions, mentorship, co-founder matching, and funding opportunities, DTI aims to nurture mission-driven entrepreneurs globally. The vision is to help create more than one million social enterprises by 2030.

This expansion reflects Tushar’s belief that entrepreneurship can become a powerful solution to unemployment when supported by structured ecosystems.

The Challenges of Expanding a Global Mission

Tushar speaks about the challenge without deflection. Scaling a social enterprise across multiple countries while maintaining quality, consistency, and genuine impact is a problem that does not resolve itself.

Coordinating diverse teams and partners across different regions demands a level of strategic precision and cultural intelligence that many organisations underestimate. His team navigated this by anchoring every expansion in strong partnerships, clear frameworks, and technology-enabled coordination that kept the ecosystem coherent as it grew.

“We encourage a culture of learning, experimentation, and collaboration. Team members are encouraged to take initiative, explore new ideas, and contribute to innovation,” he asserts

The subtler, longer battle has been around perception. Many organisations continue to direct their training investments almost exclusively toward technical skills, while research increasingly shows that workplace competencies are equally critical for long-term professional success.

Shifting that mindset, client by client and institution by institution, has required patience, evidence, and a willingness to keep making the argument. Cloud Counselage has made it consistently, and the market is slowly, steadily, moving in the direction he identified years ago.

Recognition That Carries Responsibility

Cloud Counselage has earned recognition as an award-winning social enterprise for its work in addressing unemployment. He was also recognized as a VExpert 2015 and awarded by VMware INC, US. This recognition marked his genuine contribution to cloud technology advancement.

He is a social entrepreneur who has devoted himself to eradicating unemployment amongst the youth and supports lakhs of youth globally in their professional development, that too free of cost.

Growth With Purpose, Advice with Honesty

Tushar approaches growth with strategic discipline. Every new market, partnership, or platform capability is evaluated not just commercially but by its contribution to the ecosystem’s long-term sustainability and societal value.

Tushar explains, “Our Business Services provide simple, customized and affordable business management solutions to propel start-ups and SMEs in the desired direction by co-creating value for them.”

The organization helps clients formulate business strategies, hire talent, design new processes, brand, and streamline their existing business activities to help them start, run, and grow their businesses.

To aspiring entrepreneurs across Asia, his advice is direct: solve real problems, build strong networks, and lead with purpose. Innovation does not occur very often in its own right. It flourishes in a society where ideas are exchanged, and views are shared. The companies that are surviving, he thinks, are the ones that truly add value in society and not just to shareholders.

The Road Ahead

Achieving the 2030 objective requires continuous innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and committed stakeholders. Cloud Counselage has grown into that ambition, with expanding networks of professionals, institutions, and organisations joining the ecosystem every year.

In a world struggling to reconcile technological acceleration with human development, he is building the bridge methodically, ambitiously, and with a clarity of purpose that is rare in any industry. If his journey so far signals anything, the world would do well to pay attention.
