Inox Wind Bags Repeat 200 MW Turnkey Project from NLC India

Background 

Inox Wind Limited has been given another 200 MW turnkey order by NLC India Limited worth INR 1600 Crore, which increases its order book size to 4.7 GW. Following the announcement, the company’s shares rose as much as 2% in early trade. 

The Vadodara-based wind energy company will execute the project on a turnkey basis. The scope of work includes the supply of wind turbine generators, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), along with operations and maintenance services after the project is commissioned. 

The project is anticipated to be finished within 24 months after receiving the Letter of Award, according to the business. The latest contract adds further momentum to Inox Wind’s expanding order book and is reflective of continued demand for its wind energy solutions. 

Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Agarwal said the repeat order reflects customer confidence in the company’s turnkey execution capabilities and advanced product portfolio. He added that the company’s strong and diversified order pipeline provides good visibility for future growth. 

Earlier, in the last quarter of 2025, Inox Wind secured a 102.3 MW order from ABREL EPC Ltd., a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Renewables. 

The company is yet to announce its first-quarter financial results. In the fourth quarter of FY26, net profit declined 51.1% year-on-year to ₹91.3 crore, while revenue from operations slipped 2.4% to ₹1,244.2 crore. EBITDA also fell 21.5% to ₹200 crore. 

The stock had declined nearly 3% in the previous trading session and has fallen by more than 50% over the past year despite the latest order announcement.
