Imdadulla Shariff – Building Purpose-Driven Enterprises Across Asia and Beyond

Mr. Imdadulla Shariff is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Victous Life Sciences Private Limited, an intention-driven health and wellness organization, which was founded in July 2023. Victous is not just a business but an idea turned into a reality. The organization is founded upon the long-continued belief that as a business, one should not only make people live better but also make sustainable improvements to their life.

He is the CEO who leads its business strategic direction, excellence, and growth efforts. His leadership rubric is purpose-driven growth and value creation in the long run. He is greatly convinced that of the three factors outlined in leadership, which are authority, responsibility and influence, he discovered that it is the responsibility and influence that constitutes a definition of leadership. In Victous Life Sciences, he believes in nurturing the culture of empowering talent, nurturing and cultivating ideas and people and possibilities to go together.

But Victous does not appear in one day. It is the culmination of more than two decades of service in the direct selling, wellness and executive capacities- each section influencing the philosophical orientation and belief that ultimately resulted in the creation of an organization of his own.

From Brand Building to People Leadership

Early in his career, while serving as Marketing Manager at CNI Enterprise India Private Limited, he discovered that ideas alone do not drive growth. What matters just as much is clarity of vision and disciplined execution. This phase shaped his belief that strong brands are created not through promotion alone, but through meaningful value creation and authentic storytelling that resonates across cultures.

A major turning point came when he stepped into leadership roles, including Branch Manager at Monavie India Enterprises Private Limited.

Managing people, markets, and performance across regions helped me realize that sustainable growth in Asia requires adaptability, empathy, and an inclusive leadership mindset,” he says.

Scaling Businesses Across Borders

One of the most defining chapters of Imdadulla’s career was his nearly decade-long tenure as Vice President at IndusViva Healthsciences Private Limited from 2013 to 2022. During this period, he played a key role in scaling operations and strengthening leadership pipelines across diverse markets.

In 2019, the organization began operations in Texas, USA, laying the foundation for international expansion. This was followed by launches in Canada, Mexico, Nepal, Bangladesh, Rwanda, and Sri Lanka. Being deeply involved in building distribution ecosystems and nurturing leaders across countries reinforced his belief that organizations grow only as strong as the people they develop within.

From April 2022 to February 2024, as Chief Operating Officer at OK Lifecare Private Limited, he focused on building operational excellence and resilient systems. This experience sharpened his understanding that vision must always be supported by structure, governance, and execution to succeed at scale.

In July 2023, he co-founded Victous Life Sciences Private Limited. Today, as Chief Executive Officer, he leads the company’s strategy, operations, and expansion with a clear purpose: to build a future-ready organization grounded in innovation, integrity, and impact.

Leadership Rooted in Purpose

Imdadulla describes his leadership philosophy as being built on purpose, people, and accountability. Earlier in his career, he focused mainly on execution and results. Over time, he learned that true leadership is about influence, creating clarity, building trust, and empowering people to take ownership.

Today, his approach reflects servant leadership, empathy, and long-term thinking. He believes leadership is less about managing tasks and more about shaping mindsets. When people grow with resilience and accountability, organizations naturally become stronger and more sustainable.

Staying ahead in a competitive and fast-changing market requires foresight and agility. At Victous Life Sciences, he emphasizes market intelligence, consumer insights, and awareness of global trends.

Innovation is guided by strong ethics, customer needs, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional collaboration, always with a focus on long-term value rather than short-term gains,” Shariff shares.

Creating a Culture of Growth

For Imdadulla, resilience and performance start with clarity of purpose. People perform their best when they understand why their work matters. He believes in empowering teams through mentorship, honest feedback, and opportunities that encourage them to step beyond comfort zones.

Some of his toughest challenges came while managing rapid growth during uncertain times and transitioning from executive leadership to entrepreneurship.

Building Victous Life Sciences from the ground up tested my resilience and strengthened his belief that leadership is forged through clarity, courage, and integrity,” he shares.

His efforts were recognized when Victous Life Sciences received the “Fastest Growing Direct Selling Company in India” award from IAC for achieving the highest turnover, establishing nine branches across India, and launching four products. For him, this honor represents team effort, ethical practices, and purpose-led growth, and serves as motivation to keep raising standards.

Looking Forward

Imdadulla balances growth with sustainability by making disciplined, intentional decisions. Every strategy is evaluated not only for immediate impact but also for its effect on people, systems, and brand trust. He focuses on strong foundations, ethical practices, capable leadership, and quality processes, before accelerating scale.

To aspiring entrepreneurs, his advice is simple yet powerful: believe in your vision, stay patient, never compromise on values, and remember that leadership is about impact, not position.
